The board is run by a group of volunteers who determine what programs the league offers, how funding is spent, and organize several events throughout the year. The board also oversees rentals of the community hall and maintains the building. The board regularly communicates to the neighbourhood through the Southeast Voice newspaper, the website, social channels, the email newsletter, and community signage. In cases where there is the need for a unified voice from the neighbourhood, the board can also represent the community to address the city.
The league is funded through various grants, rentals of the hall, the Edmonton Federation of Community Leagues (EFCL), Casinos, the City of Edmonton, and any fundraisers the league chooses to run.
