now recruiting for these board positions

The Idylwylde Community League has a board tasked with the operations of the hall, community programming, neighbourhood communication, and more. If you'd like to get involved and give back to your neighbourhood, consider joining the board in one of the open positions.


A board position is open to any Idylwylde resident aged 18 or older. A new board member is voted on during the AGM or appointed by the existing board during the rest of the year. To express your interest in a role, please attend our monthly board meetings or contact league@idylwylde.org.

Secretary

  • Notifies board members of meetings and agenda, records all minutes during board and general meetings, and archives documents.


Time Requirement:  3 to 10 hours per month.

Membership Chair

  • Issues and keeps records of League memberships. 
  • Attends meetings when possible.


Time Requirement:  3 to 10 hours per month.

Social Chair

  • Generates ideas for social events that will bring together all members of the Community, and look after details necessary to run an event.
  • Attends meetings when possible


Time Requirement:  3 to 10 hours per month.


Vice President

  • Presides at meetings and functions in the absence of the President,  assists the President when needed, is responsible for the annual review  of the League's Bylaws. 
  • Attends meetings when possible


Time Requirement:  2 to 10 hours per month.
